MANILA – The Philippines’ Car-Modding and Tuning Hub

Manila has been the site of several local auto shows and car competitions focused on the automotive aftermarket accessory industry.  This popularity of motor sports and custom cars has turned into a nationwide craze.  The largest city in the Philippines, Manila is the hub of the country’s automotive aftermarket industry, the home of manufacturers and service providers, producing the Philippine’s best customized cars and trucks. This unprecedented growth of the Philippine tuner crowd is a result as well of the strong influences from Japan and the U.S.   The Tokyo Auto Salon and the SEMA show are the leading aftermarket events and tuner shows in the world.

MAS is envisioned to be a showcase of the Philippine’s best in car tuning and customizing.  Years of conducting local competitions for this market have developed skilled craftsmen in this field.  The nationwide interest in automotive aftermarket accessories was brought about not only by these competitions but also by the organization of several motorsports events like circuit racing, rallying, karting, drifting etc.

As a member of SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association), Tradeshow International, Inc. aims to strengthen the automotive aftermarket industry in Southeast Asia by providing international business opportunities among its members and prospective members in the show in its capacity as promoter.  The Manila Auto Salon will be the site for the launching of the PHILIPPINE AUTOMOTIVE AFTERMARKET INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION (PAAIA).
